The finances of Home of Love are structured with sponsors donating money for each child. The amount of the sponsorship is figured by dividing the total running costs of the orphanage by the number of children we have. Therefore if all the sponsors give as pledged, the major expenditures are covered each month. We use special financial gifts for fruit, snacks, shoes, school supplies, etc. that are not really in our basic budget. It always seems to work out wonderfully and we have never had to miss a meal or have someone go barefoot. God has always provided most generously for the kids. Special one time gifts are appreciated as we use those for fruit, sports equipment and extra needs. Most of them can write and read in English (although not perfect). Best of all you can pray for us, there are many needs that only God can answer, especially in dealings with people’s lives.
